Dalmatian Mixed Herbs from the Island of Hvar
Začinski Mix, or Spice Mix, is a fragrant mix of oregano, rosemary, marjoram, creeping thyme, and sage that you can use on everything from eggs to pastas to meats to salads. It is a favorite in our family—these days we can hardly cook without it!
The herbs are wild or cultivated by the Ćurin family on the island of Hvar, and hand-harvested using traditional techniques. Hvar is one of the most visited islands in Croatia because of its crystal clear waters and natural environment, not to mention its reputation as one of the sunniest places in all of Europe! The island has been valued for agriculture since the Greeks established growing fields there in the 4th century BC.
Ćurin herbs are naturally fragrant and will give your dishes the fresh, distinctive flavors of the Mediterranean. There are no additives or preservatives, only the same nutritious herbs that have been grown in Dalmatia for generations.
Packaged in a sealed glass jar containing 17 grams of chopped, dried herbs.
